Keypads in 8×8 configuration have been successfully assembled. This custom design is much closer to a manufacturable product than the initial prototype, can be mass produced at scale.
This board was stenciled, hand pick and placed and baked prior to testing.
All reflow components mounted – IDC and I2C are assembled using a different process.
Programmable LEDs reflowed into the button contact side.
